310th Meeting Day of Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Celebrated
Posted: 04 Sep 2018 08:03 AM PDTNANDED, Maharashtra—The 310^th meeting day of tenth Sikh master Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and the great Sikh general Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was celebrated with full fervor by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur International Foundation (Punjab) at Gurdwara Banda Ghat (Nanded, Maharashtra) on September 3. Notably, Guru Gobind Singh Ji had showered his blessings on Baba Banda Singh Bahadur by meeting him at his residence in 1708 where Gurdwara Banda Ghat is present on.
The religious event started in the morning hours on September 3 in which Hazoori Raagi Jatha of Bhai Kishor Singh delighted the devotees with melodious Kirtan. Kathavachak Giani Sarabjit Singh addressed the tale of meeting between Guru Sahib and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur to the present Sikh devotees.
It is pertinent to note here that every year, Punjab based Sikhs reaches Nanded to celebrate the historic day of the meeting between Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji and Baba Banda Singh Bahadur at Gurdwara Banda Ghat with the help of Takht Sri Hazoor Sahib Management Board.
