Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad has shot an open letter to PM Narendra Modi over the thrashing of four Dalit youths in Una, Gujarat. In his letter Lalu attacked PM Modi saying that it was PM himself along with RSS who were responsible for the violence that was being witnessed in various states in the name of cow protection.
Lalu said that it was because of the hate speeches made during the Lok Sabha polls and later during Bihar Assembly elections relating to pink revolution, beef and cow protection that farmers today fear purchasing cows.
Lalu alleged that the seeds of casteism and communalism that was sown by PM Modi is fanning tension and hatred in the country now.
He blamed PM Modi, BJP and the intolerant ideology of RSS for the deaths of Gaupalaks, farmers, Dalits, tribals and minorities because of spreading hatred in the country. Lalu said that if he did not hold PM Modi responsible for all this now, the Gaupalak within him will never forgive him.

All the leaders of the BJP together will not be having as many cows as I have in my cowshed.Lalu attacked PM Modi further in his letter alleging that many Ministers in his cabinet must have kept dogs in their house but not cows.Lalu dared PM Modi saying that if he really cared for cows, he should make a rule and direct every Minister in his govt to keep a cow in their house, take care of it personally, bathe it, feed it and if it dies, conduct the last rites also.This is because if Dalits are taking a dead cow out of their house to conduct last rites, there is a threat of them being beaten up by your party workers."Nobody in your party cares for cow but BJP workers and supporters will waste no time in killing an Akhlaq over the issue of beef," the letter read.
RJD Supremo further wrote that the Dalits and backward community will no more follow the code of conduct imposed by the RSS."I am warning Mohan Bhagwat whose does politics of hate that he should/ that they should mend their ways or pack their bags", Lalu wrote.funfacts
