My dear S. Dalbir Singh Ji,
I keep quite busy in many Panthic issues here in Canada and do not find much time to read, and to review the book would be an onerous task at this time, because I am a very slow reader, digesting each and every line thoroughly. However I will try to read the chapter on Interpretation of Gurbani and get back to you later. However one fact that observed looking at all the Teekas and translations of Gurbani tell me that those all individual interpretation of Agaadh or Asgaadh (unfathomable) Bodh (knowledge, perception,comprehension,understanding or cognition) Gurbani. Therefore, all interpretations are individual and invariably biased or tinged with personal twists. Therefore, under the circumstances one must search true answers from Gurbani itself rather than literature outside Gurbani (SGGS ji Ang 1 to 1429).
At this moment I just want to point out that there are all the fanatic Derawalas and a few Giani Kathakars along with SGPC & DSGMC also joining forces with the fanatic forces ( sorry, I can not find any other suitable words to describe them)  Instead of trying to clear the air on a century old problem of Raagmala and Bachitar Natak alias Dasam Granth they are trying to confuse the issue further to the dismay of the Khalsa Panth. they accuse those who are trying to make sense of the Granths and distorted Sikh History that had been heavily tinkered with by the anti Sikh people. Now they are trying to Stymied the open discussions on these most important issues of authenticity of writings. Every day they invent new excuses and Slandering (NINDIA)  by calling then 'tarksheel' - reasonable or rational etc I would say that if Taraksheelta is bad then our Sikh Guru Sahib would be the biggest 'tarksheel, because they raised questions and then tried to answer those questions based on Truth that one can read in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji,to guide us.We know well that 'tarakheenn' people like Taksalees, Dhuma & Company,Baba Banta Singh of Munda Pind etc are preaching illogical,unreasonable,baseless,irrational arguments of their own by mixing them with the Gurbani of Guru Granth Sahib Ji. They STRETCH their false arguments to make them palatable to the who believe them to be experts in Interpretation of Gurbani ! Unfortunately SGPC & DSGMC underr the Badals, are providing them the Stages at Darbar Sahib and Bangla Sahib Gurdwaras to mislead the Khalsa Panth. Now for the past two days  there is Bhai Kulwant Singh Ji from Ludhiana who is trying to promote the fake belief that GURU Tegh Bhadur Sahib ji did sat in Bhora to do Bhagtee. There is no Gurbani Truth in his arguments. I have to write on this issue later on when I find some time to write. There is lot of TWISTED PARCHAR on Gurbani being forced on Sikhs, many of whom do not Read and Ponder Upon Gurbani teachings and get mislead by these Parcharaks. Instead of clearing and settling the issues the SGPC & DSGMC are trying to muddy the waters with further Doubts on the subject.
Some of these so called Baba Parcharaks try to justify their arguments saying that, "There are "ASHLEEL" verses found in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji. I find this that they are trying to STRETCH THE TRUTH ! If they find that thee are any sexually explicit verses in SGGS Ji, they must understand that those few verses are in relation to a Soul longing for meeting with the Ultimate Creator, and not those of a Lady Trying to satisfy her sexual urges with an earthly Raja or king etc.
One other point as I have already explained in my previous message is the Danger of Labelling Our Guru Sahib as "PLAGIARISTS" , because in SGGS Ji The Name of Mahala and or The Bhagat is always mentioned with each Sabd except RAGMALA. Similarly, If there are Similar Hymns in Dasam Granth they may have come from Shiv Puran and or other Hindu Granths then I do not feel if Guru Sahib would have quoted those without proper credits ? If Sikhs wanted to know the details of those Mythical Stories mentioned in Gurbani they could easily go directly read those stories in the Hindu Granths.
In Guru Granth Sahib the references to Hindu Mythological Stories are given only to make people understand the reality behind those stories, because those the only stories that people at that time can relate to and understand. Those stories were used as example only to reach the Real Facts.
Dlbir Singh Ji, For almost a century now, a number of articles and books had been already published on Ragmala and Bachitar Natak alias Dasam Granth, and the controversy is not showing any end, because of fanaticism prevailing among SGPC,DSGMC, and Jamghata (Throng or crowd) of Derawalas. Sikhs are tentatively divided into three groups today as follows :
1) Who regard and preach that every word written in Dasam Granth is attributed to Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji.
2) on the other extreme are those who believe that none of the Hymns written in Dasam Granth are those from Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji.
    Both the above groups are forwarding their own arguments to justify their beliefs. Then there is the THIRD group ( Not well defined) that fall in between these two groups.
3)In this group some may be able to accept three hymns ( Jaap,Chapee & Swaiai) plus a few others that may be attributed to Guru Gobind Singh Sahib Ji and then there can be all kinds of people who are on both sides of the issue.
The SGPC had been DERELICT in its duty to settle the matter in accordance with the Teachings of Guru Granth Sahib Ji that must be the TOUCHSTONE (KASVATEE) for any decision on this matter. SGPC do not have very many Gursikhs with SOJHEE of Gurbani ( Understanding to interpret without any personal biases) to work on a committee to settle this long standing controversy. Meanwhile the Enemies of the Khalsa Panth are creeping in at all times to denigrate the Panth.
When I read Gurbani I keep in mind the instruction from Guru Sahib that guide us, " AKLEE SAHIB SAVIEEAI AKLEE KEECHAI DAAN. AKLEE PARRD KAI BUJHEEAI ....." As an Amritdhari (Practising) Sikh when I do my daily Nitname, and also Conduct Sehaj Path of Guru Granth Sahib Ji, I noticed some differences that I had been sharing in my email messages. The points noted were as follows :
A) There is no use of "ADHAK" any where in Gurbani, where as in Jaap Sahib alone there were at least 111 words on which Adhak was used. Similarly the Presence of Adhak can be seen in all Hymns such as Chaupee,Swaiyaie etc. There is a profuse use of Adhak in all of hand written "Beers" of Dasam Granth and various Gutkas.
B) Secondly it was noticed that All of Guru Granth Sahib Ji is written in "PAINTEE AKHREE ONLY" The use of Gurmukhi alphabets with DOTS IN THE FOOT such as Sasa, Khakha,Gaga, Jija,Fafa and Lala has been used 34 times in Jaap Sahib, and there is profuse use of these alphabets with DOT IN THEIR FEET in whole of Dasam Granth. To this day I made several inquiries but no one was able to answer my quest about the "Time of introduction of these alphabets in Punjabi Language ? When I read Guru Granth Sahib Ji and read several Sabds of Guru Nanak Sahib, Guru AjanDev Sahib Ji and some Bhagats and they have written many Sabds in FARSI (Persian) and they did not find it suitable to use these alphabets with DOTS IN THEIR FEET. It appears these words crept into Gurmukhi Language some tome during 1850 or around that time ?  My search still continues. The author of Mahan Kosh ( 1912-1930) provided three plates of old Gurmukhi Writings between pages 418 and 419 in four pages numbered 419. I do not see the use of Adhak or Letters with Dots in Foot on these plates
I would also like to suggest all authors of articles or books that they must provide the POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS to any Controversy they write upon, with complete details.*
I will read the Chapter that you want me to Read for any possible suggestions if any.

*  The practice of Jathedars, declaring restrictions on people and telling them "Not to write or raise any questions on Dasam Granth until further notice" is not in accordance with Sikh Principles of "Freedom of Expression" because Sikh Guru Sahib Freely Expressed their Views to the World at large where ever they traveled.
