Sikh Council UK Launches Political Engagement Programme
LONDON, UK (May 4, 2013)–The Sikh Council UK is launching a “Political Engagement Program” that aims to develop future British Sikh politicians and political activists through collaboration with the major political parties. The first event will be hosted by the Conservative Party (June 6th 2013), with subsequent events planned with Labor (Summer 2013) and the Liberal Democrats (TBC).
The first event will be held from 2pm to 7.30pm at the Conservative Party HQ. It will provide participants to meet senior party figures and party officials and learn about the Conservative Party, what they are doing to attract Sikh candidates, and how you can get involved. This session will include an open Q&A.

If you fit the criteria and would like to apply for the June 6th 2013 event please complete an application form and submit it by May 10th 2013.

Applicants are invited from across the community. Beyond the stated requirements above , there are no additional requirements (for example, we do not require applicants to be Amritdhari etc).
