SADA (USA) Congratulates Imran Khan on Getting Elected as Prime Minister of Pakistan

NEW YORK—Sarabjit Singh New York, the spokesperson of Shiromani Akali Dal Amritsar (USA), has congratulated Imran Khan on getting elected as the Prime Minister of the Islamic State of Pakistan in the recently concluded polls. Notably, the Pakistan’s Tehreek-i-Insaaf party headed by Imran Khan has emerged as a single majority party in the National Assembly after the July 25 elections and Imran Khan is likely to swear in as the Prime Minister of Pakistan on August 14 i.e. the 71^st independence day of Pakistan.
S. Sarabjit Singh New York has said that the Islamic state of Pakistan has always depicted special interest in protecting the rights of Sikhs and other minorities living in Pakistan. He added that the Pakistani state is an example in itself in offering a robust environment to minorities for practicing their religions despite standing on religious ethos.
He expressed hope that the new Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Imran Khan, will intensify efforts for the rights of Sikhs living in Pakistan as well as globally.
