Congress Leaders Seek Indictment of Sukhbir Badal under Murder Charges
Posted: 26 Aug 2018 08:41 PM PDTCHANDIGARH—Addressing the Congress rally on the eve of Rakhar Punnia festival at Baba Bakala on August 27, the Congress legislators sought indictment of Sukhbir Badal under murder charges. The Congress legislators claimed that the tabling of the investigation report of Justice Ranjit Singh Commission will unearth the reality of Shiromani Akali Dal leaders and they won’t be able to face Punjab masses after it.
Addressing the rally, the Jail Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa sought registration of a murder case against SAD president Sukhbir Badal for the sacrilege of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji during his tenure as state Home Minister and Deputy Chief Minister.
PPCC president Mr. Sunil Kumar Jakhar said that the Badals and Bikram Singh Majithia won’t be even able to enter their villages after the presentation of Commission’s report in Punjab assembly.
Technical Education and Industrial Training Minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi said that Sukhbir Badal had hobnobbed with Sirsa cult chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim and orchestrated sacrilege incidents in the state. He added that the Sikhs would not spare the Badals for their actions.
It is pertinent to note here that the investigation report of Justice Ranjit Singh Commission will be tabled in the Punjab assembly today. The Congress is learnt to have made robust planning to corner SAD legislators on this issue in the Punjab assembly today.
