Bargari Agitation: Talk Between Takht Jathedars and Punjab Government Stagnates
Posted: 02 Sep 2018 10:00 AM PDTCHANDIGARH—As per internal sources, the talk between Sarbat Khalsa appointed Takht Jathedars and Punjab government has stagnated due to an inordinate delay in action against the sacrilege culprits by the Punjab government. Sikh24 has learnt that the leaders of Bargari agitation have even started criticizing the Punjab government.
Although the Punjab government had inducted names of the guilty Police officials in an FIR registered under section 307 (attempt to murder) in relation to Kotkapura firing incident, but the Bargari agitation leaders are dissatisfied due to lack of action for the arrest of indicted cops.  
Sources have informed that the leaders of Bargari agitation are in dilemma to conclude the agitation as they are suspecting that the Punjab government may slow down its working on this issue.
On the other hand, reliable sources have informed that the Punjab government will constitute the Special Investigation Team (SIT) only after completing formalities of taking back the cases from the CBI.
