A big loss to the nation
With a heavy heart and deep sadness, I wish to inform you about the passing away of our dear friend & colleague, Meera Sanyal.
Meera as you know was not just an accomplished banker but one of the sharpest economic minds we had in our country. She gave up a very successful career to fight against corruption and injustice.
Meera fought Cancer for the last two years with such spirit & grace but ultimately lost that fight. Her last words to me recently were "Pray for me."
Please do join me in saying a prayer for Meera,  and as a respect to her memory let us resolve to take forward Meera's dream of  "Honest Politics and Good Governance" which she believed was the only long term solution for the many problems we face in our country.
You will be missed Meera!
