He has said that the 30 acres of agriculture land near Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib will be kept as it is now so that the Sikh pilgrims can feel the spirituality of the place where Guru Nanak Sahib spent his last days while doing agriculture.
It is pertinent to note here that the Sikh community was quite keen worrying about the farming land of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib which Guru Nanak Sahib used to plough during the last phase of his life. The Punjab Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu had even shot a letter to the Pakistani PM Imran Khan on January 20 requesting him preserve the environmental beauty of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib.
Mr. Fawad Chaudhary, the Information Minister of Pakistan, has informed that the Federal Cabinet of Pakistan has decided to keep the agriculture land near Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib as it is now.
He added that the Kartarpur corridor will get open in November this year, i.e. on the historic eve of the 550 th birthday anniversary celebrations.
