Police Arrest Shiv Sena Terrorist for Hurting Sentiments of Sikh Community
SAS NAGAR, Punjab (June 24, 2013)–Amit Sharma, chief of Shiv Sena (SAS Nagar, Mohali) was arrested for hurting the sentiments of the Sikh community.  Sharma had put up derogatory remarks alongside pictures of Guru Gobind Singh Ji on Facebook.  A complaint was filed by Manpreet Singh ‘Bunty’ of Akal Market and some other Sikh organisations.
The case has been registered under Section 66 (a) of the Information Technology Act and sections 295 (a) and 298 of the IPC at division number 1 police station.
Police has taken remand of Sharma and will be questioning him regarding the blasphemous act.
Shiv Sena has been provoking the Sikh community for decades.  It has been involved in spurring violence against Sikhs and other minority communities in Punjab.
Amit Sharma has been active for some time on various social media networks, including Facebook and Youtube, casting derogatory remarks against the Sikhs.  The Akali Government of Punjab, a close ally of BJP, a right-wing Hindutva party, has been shielding Shiv Sena terrorists
