“Baba Ram Singh had left a handwritten suicide note before shooting himself on Wednesday.
The suicide note recovered by the police from the spot has been written in the Punjabi language
"I have experienced the pain and suffering of the farmers at the border.
They are out on the streets to get justice. It is very painful as they are not getting justice.
This is suffering. To make someone suffer is a sin and the one who tolerates is a big sinner.
People did many things to express solidarity and concern for the farmers. Some expressed their anguish by returning their awards. I am 'self-immolating' for farmers and against the government atrocities.
This is a voice against the excess and for the working farmer," the suicide note said.”
