The Louder Noise in Our ‘Temple of Democracy’ Surpassed the Wails of the Riot Victims: Shame! Shame!
By: Balbir Singh Sooch-Sikh Vichar Manch
1.      The Ruling and Opposition’s louder noise in our ‘temple of democracy’ surpassed- ‘to go beyond what was expected or hoped for, usually by being bigger, better, or greater’ the wails of the riot victims and shifted the focus away from the carnage-massacre, bloodshed. The Louder Noise in Our ‘Temple of Democracy’ Surpassed the Wails of the Riot Victims: Shame! Shame!
2.      “The Ruling and Opposition’s louder noise in our ‘temple of democracy’ was a new low for our ‘temple of democracy’ as rightly observed in editorial; Ruckus in House: Debate on Delhi violence must be accorded priority: Posted: March 04, 2020 06:45 AM (IST): The Tribune, Chandigarh:
https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/ruckus-in-house-50445
3.      “INDIAN VOTER- ESCALATOR-FINDS NO ALTERNATIVE AS A NEW LEADERSHIP: WHY BJP, Congress Members Scuffle in House to maintain ‘status quo- the existing state of affairs, especially regarding social or political issues’ of 'Divide and Rule' policy for achieving their own ‘ENDS’ to ignore ‘ WELFARE OF INDIANS- HUMANITY’ understandingly-thoughtfully via them only. Is it Indian politics? Oh! My God!
4.      As to Why Is There Lacuna to Discriminate with Muslims on the Ground of Religion in CAA? Answer: The BJP, Congress Members maintain ‘Status Quo’ of 'Divide and Rule' policy for achieving their own ‘ENDS’ to ignore ‘ WELFARE OF INDIANS- HUMANITY’   thoughtfully outside and in the House. Is the “Scuffle” not for the well-being of Indians? Oh! No!
5.   “Delhi violence: CJI says courts can’t stop things from happening” THE HINDU: Why? Hon’ble Supreme Court of India knows as to where fault lies-deceit of Delhi violence and Killings’ etc in India??? Will Ever Indian Voters have their own Choice for New Leadership?” Was it not rightly commented by Balbir Singh Sooch-Sikh Vichar March on the cartoon of THE HINDU published on March 3, 2020: https://www.thehindu.com/opinion/cartoon/cartoonscape-march-3-2020/article30965147.ece

6.      Editorial; Ruckus in House: Debate on Delhi violence must be accorded priority: Posted: March 04, 2020 06:45 AM (IST): The Tribune, Chandigarh
7.      Ruckus in House: Parliamentary proceedings are usually synonymous-identical with pandemonium-chaos. But what happened on Monday, Marach 2, 2020 was a new low for our ‘temple of democracy’. As the Budget session resumed after a three-week recess, the communal violence that engulfed northeast Delhi last week and claimed 47 lives was expected to take centre stage.
8.      However, the prospect of an immediate debate on the issue was nipped in the bud as MPs from the ruling and Opposition parties resorted to pushing and shoving, followed by the all-too-familiar allegations and counter-allegations.
9.      The cacophony-disharmony drowned out- To used or created a louder noise to make a different, often unpleasant, noise less audible’ the wails- ‘pain, grief, or misery in a long mournful high-pitched cry or in words uttered in a mournful way’ of the riot victims and shifted the focus away from the carnage-massacre, bloodshed.
10.  It’s a pity that the Opposition and treasury benches couldn’t even get together to mourn the dead.
11.  Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said a debate would take place once the situation normalised in Delhi. His argument did not hold water, considering the urgency of the matter. The government has finally agreed to discuss the Delhi riots, but as late as March 11, 2020.
12.  It’s obvious that the BJP is buying time to fine-tune its line of defence. The ruling party also finds itself on the back foot over its leaders’ hate speeches that apparently added fuel to the fire.
13.  The Centre’s failure to handle the volatile situation in Delhi has given the disjointed Opposition a huge opportunity to regroup and corner the government in Parliament.
14.  However, the Congress and other parties seem to be preoccupied with attention-grabbing tactics — flashing banners, placards and black blindfolds in the House.
15.  They should first demand a statement from the Union Home Minister on the violence rather than straightaway seeking his ouster.
16.  Sloganeering and placard-waving inside Parliament would only defeat the purpose of eliciting answers from the powers that be.
17.  Maintaining decorum in the House is a prerequisite for initiating a meaningful debate.
18.  Unruly behaviour by parliamentarians won’t help in determining the whys and wherefores of the mayhem that rocked the Capital and shamed India before the international community.
19.  The elected representatives must exercise restraint in order to salvage this crucial session. https://www.tribuneindia.com/news/ruckus-in-house-50445
